Positive: Dany Island is a true remote-island escape with a relaxed barefoot-luxury feel. It’s the perfect place to switch off, slow down, and completely unwind. What really sets it apart is its eco-friendly approach and history as a marine conservatory. Knowing the reefs and environment are protected makes the stay feel even more meaningful, as your visit supports conservation rather than harming it. Peaceful, untouched, and beautifully simple — ideal for anyone looking for an off-grid island experience in Vanuatu. Julien the resort manager (and his team) were exceptional. They made us feel so welcomed and did everything to make us feel comfortable. Julien is also an amazing chef.

Negative: Not so much an negative feedback but the bath towels only get replaced every 2 days and there was one day where we didn’t have beach towels as there were no replacements (ie we couldn’t reuse our beach towels as it was soaked from our previous day activity). It wasn’t so much a big deal that’s why I didn’t raise with Julien. I’m sure if I did he would have been all over it!
